Directions
From the Thruway: Take the NYS Thruway to Exit 25. Take I-890 west to Exit 5 - Broadway and bear right. Go to the first traffic light on Broadway and take a right up to Millard St. Continue straight on Millard through 3 intersections across Albany St. and State St. After crossing State St., Millard St. becomes Nott Terrace. Stay in right lane, turn right on Nott Terr. into park’s entrance gate. (Landmark: Stewart’s Shop is directly across the street from gate.)
From the Northway: Take the Northway to Exit 6 onto Route 7 West toward Schenectady. Follow Route 7 about 6 mi. to Union St. exit. Continue on Union until you reach intersection with Nott Terrace and turn left. (Landmark: Go past green and orange locomotive on display on left). Next left will be the park’s main gate – directly across from Stewart’s Shop.
From route 146 (Clifton Park, Mechanicville ): Stay on 146 over the Rexford Bridge to Balltown Road. Stay on Balltown to the intersection of Union Street (Route 7). Take a right onto Union. Take Union St. down to Union College area and turn left on Nott Terrace. Go through first light (Eastern Ave.) (Landmarks: Green and orange locomotive on display on left – keep going on Nott Terr. Stewart’s Shop is directly across from park’s main gate.)
From Amsterdam: Take Route 5 east through Scotia. Cross the Western Gateway Bridge (“Scotia Bridge”) and stay on State St. in Schenectady. Continue on State, bear right where State forks at the Veterans Park. Turn left at the first intersection (Landmark: Goodyear Tire store straight ahead) at the beginning of Nott Terr. MVP building will be on your left. Keep in right lane. Take right into park’s gate (directly across from Stewart’s Shop).
