Welcome to Vale Park

Vale Park is a beautiful 35-acre public city park on Nott Terrace. Situated on the upper edge of downtown Schenectady, the park is an unexpected wooded oasis in the midst of the cityscape.

Looking for a local retreat into nature or a nearby picnic venue? Vale Park is the place. The park features a gazebo, pavilion, an interactive playground as well as access to water and electricity. Individuals and organizations are encouraged to consider Vale Park for their next event.

To ensure the park’s safety and security, video cameras and lights have been installed.
